A God named Saturn controlled the weather and could make it good if he was happy and make it bad if he was angry. So, the sixth day of the week was called Saturday.
5. A year on Earth is 365 days unless it is a leap year. But the actual definition of a year is the time it takes a planet to orbit the Sun. A year on Uranus lasts 84 Earth years.
6. Laika, a Russian dog, was launched on Sputnik in 1957 and spent a week in orbit. She was the first living creature in space.
