government: the British government, the Russian government, the government of the country. Do you know how the government works?
island: a big green island, a grassy island, to live on an island. This hotel is the best on the island.
lie (lay): to lie on the sand, to lie in the sun. I lay on the bed dreaming about my holidays.
mean (meant): to mean something, to mean nothing, to mean a lot. What do you mean? I mean we can be late. What does this word mean?
part: a part, a bigger part, an important part. In what part of the country do you live? Text five was the most difficult part of our lesson.
